    3. Ross, Thank you for all of the great information on the Allen's and related famlies. it seems that you and I are related by marriage to more than 1 family line in Lawrence Co. >>>I did not find a marriage record for Lemuel W. Allen, Jr. and Mildred J. Lewis in Lawrence County circa 1878.>>> >From Goodspeed's and from a Robert Williams via email I found that L.W. Allen and Mildred Lewis were married Jan 2, 1879. I did not find a marriage record in the book or CD. I have been researching all of the children of R.C Lewis and Eliza GUTHRIE Lewis (the brothers and sisters of Mildred Lewis Allen) and what I have found so far is that related families include: McAndrew, Hoover, Davis, Plater, Richardson and White. also Hagler, Stockstill/Stocksdill, Martin and Gillock. William S. Lewis b:ca 1845- I have no information on William Josephine Lewis b:ca 1848, married: Edward H. RICHARDSON Louella Lewis b:1850, married: David WHITE in 1867 Amanda L. (Mandy) b:1853, married: J.A. PLATER Richard L. b:1858, married: Sarah P. HOOVER in 1880 Mildred b:1859, married: L.W.
