Are we talking about Ezekial Stewart b Feb 1, 1830 d Dec. 17, 1903 in Halltown, Buried in Halltown, Missouri? Father of L.Byron Stewart? I'll, again, ask if Mom knows anyone who might be able to answer your questions. Byron's sister Ines Stewart Cantrell might mean the Cantrell's in the area know something. If you can find a family with both L. Byron and Ines then maybe you can identify something from there. Interesting if they came from NY. I have only started putting genealogy for this side of the family in the past couple of months. Really don't know what I'm doing. Multiple wives was very common in the families at that time and was in the McCoy family too.
