Hi Pat, yes was trying to tell the other Pat about my Moms friend Chloe. She was living in Burbank, Ca when my Mom died in 1987 but have had no contact with her since. My grandparents Will and Allie Mayabb owned the Halltown Cafe when my Mom was growing up. Will died in 1926 and Allie continued to run the cafe until her death in1932. I am not sure what happened to it after that. My Moms sisters were Zella Johnson and Lela Brazil then Campbell. Her brother was Harvey Mayabb. Does your Mom remember them? Does she live near you now or still in Mo? I bet she has some wonderful memories to share. Your Mom might remember the Bank of Halltown. It was started by several people including my other gf William Ross Hutchison. I have a couple of blank checks from it. I was told it was in the building that is now occupied by the telephone company. It looks like the building has been remodeled though. I wish I had some pictures of early Halltown but only have one. I will try and dig it out and send it to you if you want. Wish we could visit Mo again but I don't think we will be able to anytime soon. Kaye
