If George were Ezekiel's own son by a previous wife, his surname should still be Stewart instead of Ingram. However, it is possible that he is Ezekiel's stepson if Ezekiel were previously married and his first wife had had a son before she married Ezekiel. Get's rather complicated, but there are several possibiliities - nephew, stepson, half-brother, cousin, etc., or even no relation at all.
