Hi, You may have already found the cemetery and checked the tombstone inscriptions. From Lockwood, go south on Hwy. 97. Cross Hwy. 96 (old Route 66). Go 1 mile, turn right onto farm road 2070. Go about 1 mile and the cemetery is on the left side of the road near the intersection with farm road 1050. There are several Thomases buried there, but I do not know if it was ever called Thomas Cemetery. Many of the cemeteries in Lawrence County have been known by more than one name. Sometimes, a family started a cemetery and then it was deeded to a church or cemetery association. There are four pages of inscriptions on pages 24-27 of Lawrence County, Missouri, Tombstone Inscriptions, Vol. VII, Vineyard and Mt. Pleasant Townships. What person are you searching for that died about 1902? Ross Cameron >>> [email protected] 04/14/03 08:28PM >>> Trying to find the location of Fellowship Church Cemetary. I am coming from the Lockwood area and would like to find this cemetary. Is it true this used to be called Thomas Cemetary? Is there a way to find out about a burial there about 1902?
