    3. Virginia, Where do you live now? I'm the one who started the Stewart, McCoy etc. line. My father is John Albert Stewart. There were two Stewart families there. Byron was my grandfather; the other was John Buff Stewart and his son John Howard Stewart. Two of John Buff's daughters still live in Halltown, one on the old Stewart home place. Our place backed up to theirs. I have been told that the Byron Stewart property took in a lot of the property for quite a ways South of Halltown until after Byron died and split it up between his kids. Two of the kids sold out and moved to California. Only my Dad stayed and then he sold and we went to California in 1953 after his mother had been dead for several years.. I'll ask my mother about the Wilkersons. The only ones I know live in Aurora, but that may not be the same family. I'll type of Alice McCoy's death book and you can see if you recognize any of the names.
