I have a picture taken in Peirce City of a cute little baby, Glen Herman Nelson. Anybody know who this is? http://128.135.184.55/hblair/web/mystery_pictures/GlenHermanNelson_fromPeirceCity.jpg I'm not finding him on the census except perhaps a Glen Nelson, b. 1899 on the 1910 census in Christian County. He's the son of William and Frances Nelson. There's also a Herman Nelson born the same year in Greene County in the Kate Nelson household. - Heather http://surgerysupport.uchicago.edu/hblair/
Yippee! I figured out Glen Herman Nelson -- at least I think so. This photograph was in an album belonging to my gg-aunt, Lizzie Motley. Her mother was Mary Jane Fullerton. Mary Jane Fullerton had a brother, James Harvey Fullerton, who had a daughter Ethel, who married a Dr. Frank Nelson. Ethel and Frank are on the 1910 census for Washita Co., OK which is where Lizzie Motley had been living with her parents and siblings after they moved there from Sarcoxie, Jasper County, Missouri. Ethel's dad and his second wife were also living in Oklahoma. On the 1910 census, Ethel and Frank have a son "Glenn H. Nelson", age 4! I hadn't found him because the index transcriber got him as "Grenn". So Glenn is my second cousin, twice removed. Got it now! - Heather http://surgerysupport.uchicago.edu/hblair/ On Thu, 25 Jan 2007, heather e blair wrote: > I have a picture taken in Peirce City of a cute little baby, Glen Herman > Nelson.
