Thanks, Ross, for sharing such a wonderful story about Ray Gene Richardson with those of us in other states. My cousin and I visited Mt. Vernon in 2005 and spent quite some time in Maple Park Cemetery taking pictures of family headstones. Thanks to you and your directions, we were able to actually visit six cemeteries in one day and accomplish a great deal in documenting our family history. Maple Park was a beautiful cemetery and it's unfortunate that someone decided they had a right to violate the resting place of so many.
