Pat: In knowing that the Trowers had at one time lived in Barry Co., Missouri I looked up the Barry Co. Genweb site at //www.rootsweb.com/~mobarry.htm, scrolled down the page and found the box that had a search area, entered Tower and came up with several hits including a list of surnames in the Barry Co. Goodspeed 1888 History. The surnames included P. Trower on page 58 and P. H. Trower on page 35. I only looked briefly at this site but it looks like you may have to ask someone in that county to do a look-up for you to find out exactly what is in Goodspeed on the Trowers on these pages.
