Hi Heather, No, with my luck I was not able to find an Obituary, however I have thought about trying to order his death certificate. That might at least tell me where he was born and maybe his parents names. While at the library the other day I did find a WWI Draft Registration with a Bennie Stephenson, exact birthdate as my Bennie that lead me to Poweshiek Co., IA. Also I found a Bennie with the same month and year of birth(Oct 1891) as my Bennie on the 1900 census with father Charlie B., and mother Rosa E. Stephenson(nee Bever). There was only one sibling that was a female on this census and she was 2 years older then Bennie, her name was Ettie, b. Sep 1889. My Aunt had told me that Bennie sent Grandma's trunk to his sister, somewhere up north of me. I can't remember for sure but now that I think about it, it could have been Iowa. Thanks for your help.
