Wouldn't we all. At least the responses show the point I was trying to make last week. But like all things after a little surge such as we have had here the last week it will slowly slow down to what I have noticed in the past. It is so distressing to me to see the possibilities and to know nothing will come of it and sometimes after so long I have to voice my frustrations with it. I guess it is time to give it up. What a downer. Happy Hunting. Hello Jerry, Is it my understanding that you would like to have the same things on this rootsweb that is on ancestry and other charging information web sites? Or did I misunderstand what was said? It will never happen if that is what you are trying to start. Rootsweb-Ancestry-and all others are connected in some way. This is free (Rootsweb) and a chance to connect to other family members and exchange information to further your line. To come in and try to change a good thing although to have the information free would be nice but a dream, will not work. Even the information you receive here on roots and/or anyplace else should be used as a guide line. I just want to thank all people that have put the Rootsweb together and keeps it running and free. USGENWEB does have free information and is connected to Rootsweb.
