Heather, I have bunches of Kansas people that have nothing online or even in books. They're there, but the Kansas counties are sort of like Lawrence Co., only worse. Do you have any idea what part of Kansas they went to? You almost have to find someone in Kansas who will do the research for you and not many of us can afford that. Also, a good many people who went to Kansas went on to Washington and Oregon. They also went down into No Man's Land/Oklahoma Territory and such. No census records, that I know of, for that area. Hi Pat, William Stevenson is in Anderson Co., Kansas on the 1860 census. A kind researcher looked for him in cemetery records, but didn't find him. I haven't tried looking for a will or probate record yet, but I could put it on my LDS wish-list. It does look like his son, Calvin, moved to Oregon, while sons Jesse and Porter stayed in Kansas. - Heather http://surgerysupport.uchicago.edu/hblair/ On Wed, 2 May 2007, Pat Miller wrote: > Heather, > I have bunches of Kansas people that have nothing online or even in > books.
