    3. We will be visiting Lawrence County over Memorial Day weekend. We will go to Rock Prairie Cemetery, Orange Church Cemetery, Marionville IOOF Cemetery, Maple Park Cemetery and Grammar Cemetery. Hopefully I will get to spend several hours in the library at Mt. Vernon too. Probably won't get a chance to go too the courthouse. Maybe I can make a good contact with the Historical Society while I'm there. Pat Miller Dallas,TX

    3. Hey Pat, We'll be open that Sunday from 1 to 4 pm. The library in Mt. Vernon is where our research materials are. they have summer hours on Saturdays, 9 to 1 pm, but I'm not sure when that goes into effect. 3. Gary, Okay, I'll try to get over there while you're open. I've been to the Library several times. That's where I first used a microfilm machine and found out that my Dad's sister was in the Sanitorium there. Later I went to the Sanitorium and found her death date. Has anymore information become available from there? They were going to make a scrap book with a bunch of pictures. 3. Dear Mr. Daughtrey, I do a lot of cemetery research in Barry County and something like 10% of the entries I've seen in the King Funeral Home books have burials in Barry County. How would a person get permission to use information contained in those books to help "flesh out" grave entries? I'm reluctant to buy the books unless I have a use for them, but I would do so. I think the compiler was Virginia Schmidt?!?!? jay trace --- Lawrence County Historical Society <lchs@mo-net.com> wrote: > Hey Pat, > We'll be open that Sunday from 1 to 4 pm. > The library in Mt.
