Janet, We may have communicated about this line (GAY) before, but my brain is on meltdown! One of my maternal ancestors Rhoda GAY Spivey was living in Polk Co. almost on the Dade Co. line in the 1850's-60's. I don't know if there were any of her Gay relatives there or not, but they and the Spiveys lived near each other in VA and NC. I'd be interested, too, in learning who this Green Gay was. Barbara Meger
