I would appreciate your reply. Some of you may remember the more recent Elkins: Will Elkins (1884-1961) was a black smith and wagon maker and married to Eugene (Springfield) Elkins (1896-1957). They lived round and about Miller all their married lives. They had 6 boy and 2 girls all born and schooled in Miller. Also as a reminder. Miller has a Labor Day celebration each year. Years ago it was known as the Miller Picnic. For over 20 years now the Elkins have used this afair as a get together or reunion type thing. My family has gone to it every year for over ten years now and it is interesting to hear the talk of those that have grown up in the area and the Elkins that return each year to reunite with one another and their childhood friends.
