    2. PJ, on 4/2/00 you wrote: "Regarding your Mayberrys, do you know if this family is connected to the Maberrys (their spelling) of the Greenfield area? My aunt's family (Betty Jo Maberry Jackson) were of this tribe. Her father was Ralph Elton Maberry; he owned a service station in Stotts City for many years until the late '60s; he died sometime in the mid 1970s (I think)." PJ, I don’t know any of the recent descendants of any of the Mayberrys or Maberrys or Mabrys. I would like to find some of them. There was another family of Mayberrys in Ray and Livingstone Counties and it’s possible that their descendants moved into Lawrence Co. Otherwise, the only family I know of in Lawrence Co. is the family of Lafayette Mayberry. There was a T. H. Maberry who was county collector in 1908, but I don’t know what family he belonged to. Do you know the name of your aunt’s grandfather, the father of Ralph Elton Maberry? Perhaps that would be far enough back to make a connection. Nancy Pundsack
