I have Michel's from Missouri. My GGrandmother, Julia Ann Howard, married Louis Frederick Michel in !892 in Taney County Missouri. I am looking for a book that was privately published by Abby Michel Ruckman titled "Jonathan Michel and Descendants." She was one of the children of Julia and Fred. ----- Original Message ----- From: Diane Caudle <diamond@vnet.net> To: <MOLAWREN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 26, 2000 6:46 AM Subject: [MOLAWREN-L] Iron and Steal > Haven't seen much activity on this list in a while, thought I'd send this one: > > In my search of the family tree, it was pretty exciting to learn my > great-grandparents in the Appalachian Mountains were pioneers in > iron and steel.
