Dear Group, Might I ask your indulgence in what may be a long-sought answer to what happened to my Grt Grandfather's sister, Mary JONES. My Grt Grandfather Clifton, and his sisters Margaret and Mary, were the orphans of Simeon and Susan STEWART JONES of Lincoln Twp., Lawrence Co. (Miller). My speculation is as follows, and I'm hoping it might sound familiar to someone: Could Mary E. "Mollie" JONES b. c1869 GA (w/Jasper and Queentina SEABOURN DAVIS on 1880 census in Lincoln Twp., Lawrence Co.) Be Mary Ellen JONES 1868-1949 Buried Sinking Creek Cem., Rock Prairie Twp., Dade Co. who married 15 Oct 1890 ?? (not Lawrence, maybe Dade) William Taylor HUGHES 1869-1944 Buried Sinking Creek Cem. s/o Wm R. & Sarah Elizabeth (Unknown) HUGHES of 1880 Lincoln Twp., Lawrence Co. Both bur. Sinking Creek Cem.
