    3. Hi, Herbert Lee Jones, is my grandfather, his parents are both from Mt. Vernon, MO, Robert Lee Jones (b. 1863) and Sarah Francis "Fannie" Anderson (b. 1863). I think that in the 1880's they left with the Andersons and looked for land in OK (Just a guess) because Herbert was born in Purcell, OK in 1891, Robert died in 1890. At some point some of the Andersons moved up to WA state and I believe that is where Herbert met and married Lucy Michel (b. 1900). On my father's birth certificate she lists her birth state as Montana. I have had a hard time tracking her so far, in fact an impossible time. I don't know anything of her ancestors so I suppose they could be from anywhere. If you've heard of a Lucy Michel I'd appreciate your contacting me, please, or if you have any ideas as to where I could look, Thanks, Diane P.S. The book you are describing sounds very interesting, I'd like to see it too, just in case :) At 11:04 AM 4/26/00 -0700, you wrote: >I have Michel's from Missouri.
