Hello, Being from Mt. Vernon (County Seat of Lawrence County), my suggestion to you would be to stay at the Comfort Inn. That's where my family chooses to stay. Its new, has great free breakfast, and an indoor swimming pool. Have a terrific time in the Ozarks. Julie Short jtsjules@aol.com
