E. Shepherd, Jan. 18, 1840 - Mar. 24, 1882 Shepherd, Amanda J., wife of H. H. Shepherd, June 7, 1858 - Sep. 11, 1883 So it looks like you may have found another match although the husband's initials don't quite match. I guess my primary source for Frances Garrett being buried in Michigan may still prove to be true. Will have to contact my Michigan *cousin*. Sometimes I wonder how and why people, in the 1700's and 1800's moved so far away from their birth places, oh well. The mysteries of life.......... Thanks again for the information.
