Hi, All! I wanted to send a message to remind all of you about the Battle of Wilson Creek Re-Enactment. It will be held on June 16-18 near the Battle of Wilson Creek National Park near Springfield. For any of you all able to make it you will thoroughly enjoy it! It can really add to your understanding of the time period. Many of our ancestors were there or close to there! There are supposed to be 10,000 Re-Enactors already enrolled! It will be a whole Civil War town. There will be many period speakers. Even some of the small details have been taken care of. The Springfield paper is going to be printing an old time newspaper with some of the original articles from the time period. My sons are both going to be dressed and portraying paper boys!
