Thank you so much for your reply and help, and the earliest I find my Chisum family in Lawrence county,Ark. is 1827, 1829 and 1834 up to 1850, Are you saying in your first paragraph Lawrence county, Ark. in 1819 was a small part of Barry county, MO. in 1827? Vickie I think things are starting to make sense, alot of the Chisum did travel to Barry county, Mo. James Chisum and I believe also Nathan Breed Chisum? I think this is where I may hit?
