Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ikerd held a family reunion in Conway in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Harry McFall of Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Families present were Caffey, Ikerd, McFall, Pearce, Forkner, Hutsell, et al. Edward Neas safe overseas...somewhere. Ted Green, son of Mr. and Mrs. LL Hall, was home on leave. Ross James, local druggist, went into the army. Georgia Lord operated the drug store in Conway in his absence. Marriage notice of Mrs. Clara Cogdill of Conway and Mr. JE Hudson of Pendleton, OR, at the home of Otho Henderson, Springfield. Mrs. Roma Thurman was home from hospital. Mrs. Allen Cain underwent majory surgery (she of the Good Spring neighborhood). Wilber Gann was inducted into the army. Sgt. and Mrs. Lester Rich spent his leave from March Field, California, in Phillipsburg. Maggie McMahon had an operation in Springifled (she lived on Highway 5). Mrs. Ena Bradshaw of Conway had oil circulator, heater, oil stove and oven for sale, also an electric washing machine. Nathan Rector advertised draying services. Members of Conway Baptist went to St. Salem church: Rev. and Mrs. Clemmings, Mrs. JW Lindsay and Mrs. DC Harmon. DR> JL Benage had a surprise 68th birthday party attended by man, including OC Benage, JC Smith, Paul Benage, Maude Bradshaw, Gene Bradshaw, Wm. Bear of Ash Grove, EE BEnage from Iberia; CL Tummins of KC, Norman Benage from St. Louis. HL Carter wanted hauling jobs. The Willis family of Conway had apples for sale. SUNNY SLOPE NEWS: Laurence Meyers, PC Chastten, Marion Reeves, Lee King, JA Stogsdill, Jennie Hendrix, Henry Atkinson, Charles Todd, Minerva Anglin, Ethel Gann. RADER NEWS: EC Rader, Jack Rader, Slim Pearce, Charley Johnston, Veralee Strickland, Grandma Pearce, Robert Pearce.
