You mention that Neal Portell died recently. Do you have the newspaper obituary? How about information from the funeral home? The funeral home may be willing to forward your name & address to the family members who made Mr. Portell's arrangements, as would a minister involved in the services. Eventually the SSDI will include his name and the mailing address for his final benefit. Keep looking!
