Court orders clerk to notify all persons owing school interest returnable June 5th. Sheriff ordered to purchase two dozen cuspidors for courthouse and offices. Inquest proceedings held by coroner on bodies of Susan BAKER, Ella MURPHY and W. SMITH killed at Valles Mines by cyclone, approved and fee bill in the sum of $32.03 ordered certified to treasurer for payment. Court ordered the A.H. WELCH change in DeSoto & Vineland Road opened by Petitioners. Appeal of E. HOFFMAN from judgment of court in above road case granted. Court orders road overseer in district No. 11 to purchase lumber at not more than $28 per M. and repair bridge in said district by poll tax work. Account of Julius RUENGERT for supplies for county farm continued. A poll tax of $2.50 was levied in the special road districts. Taxes for 1911 were levied as follows: State revenue 15 cents, State interest 2 cents, county revenue 40 cents, and road and bridge 25 cents, total of 82 cents on the $100 valuation. Court orders that 10 cents of the 25 cents levied for road and bridge fund be set apart as a distinct road fund. On petition of more than 100 tax-paying citizens, court orders the proposition to bond the county for $15,000 to build county hospital submitted at the special election to be held on August 1st. On petition of more than 100 tax-paying citizens, court orders the proposition to bond the county for $15,000 to build new jail submitted at same election. Clerk ordered to sort out worthless papers and have sheriff burn same in accordance with section 3 735 R.S.1909. Engineer ordered to examine crossing of Brushy Fork creek near COLTERMAN's on Horine and Jarvis Road, make estimate for street bridge and report. Clerk ordered to re-advertise for bids for county farm and jail physician. Report of sheriff of payment of Lloyd school loan approved.
