"On this rootsweb maillist and all the others I subscribe to, in order to reply to the maillist, rather than it be a private email, you choose "reply all" rather than just "reply". Choosing "reply" will send a private email to only the person who posted the message." That is not how it works for me - the majority of the lists send ALL replies back to the entire list - even tho I may only click reply and not reply to all. I have watched this happen many times so now I am careful to remove the list from a reply or comment that is not appropriate for the whole group.
