    1. Primrose Church~
    2. Does anyone have this book, Primrose Church by Woodford? I have a note that says it shows on page 61 the cemetery records of Jeptha and Richard KITE. I would be most appreciative to read the complete passage. Thanks for any help, Becky in CA

    3. Becky, I haven't seen the particular publication you're referring to, however, I do have a listing for Primrose Cemetery which lists a Richard Kite with date of death of Aug. 9, 1892, age 70 years. Listing indicates that information was taken from other sources, no stone seen. No birth date is given for him, and Jeptha Kite is not listed on listing I have. Is Jeptha you're looking for a male or female? Your message wording leads me to believe its a husband and wife, and I do see the Jeptha name mentioned in connection with other surnames on listing, but all appear to refer to men. Becky, are you sure that the book you're inquiring about was not published by Woodruff instead of Woodford? The reason I ask is because Mr. and Mrs. Howard Woodruff, both individually and jointly, compiled many publications on the history of Missouri including Missouri Pioneers and Missouri Miscellany series. The publication you mentioned just sounds like a project they might have been involved in. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If you run across the Primrose book, please let me know as my father was born at Primrose and my grandmother was baptized there. I would be most interested in knowing if there is any reference to my family in the book.
