BURGESS is my family of interest in Jefferson County. Sanders Burgess (elder) arrived in MO in about 1810-1820 along with five siblings and his widowed mother, Nancy. It is said that Nancy died in about 1845 in Jefferson Co., but I have been unable to find any mention of her death or burial place.
