Michel, I really couldn't say about how the name Metford appears in the Huskey family. It doesn't always start out as a family name. A lot of people named their children after someone they admired, and then it ~became~ a family name that was passed down. (Andrew Jackson?) But who knows, it could be one of the mother's maiden names somewhere along the line. I have tons of Huskey's though....and these are the only occurrences that I have. I do have two other Metfords in my database. One is Metford John Decker, born 1902 who married Florence M. Butler. The other is his son Stanley Metford Decker. Metford John Decker's parents were Nicholas Henry Decker and Effie Elba Frazier. These are all Jefferson County, Missouri people.
