I am researching the surnames Barutel dit Toulouse of Kaskaskia Island, IL. This name "morphed" into Toulouse/Tooloose in Jefferson County in 1845. By 1890 or so it had changed again into Toolooze and moved into St. Louis City. In Jeff Co. I am also researching Dr. G.W.N. Elders family and the Kempe and John Wesley Null family. There is also a Politte line from Washington Co. Looking for a Smith line abt. 1888 or so. Also have added Manwarring, Ogle and Cox. Jody
