    3. Since the article says he was back for a visit, it is possible is didn't die in Jefferson CO. and he may have died before the 1910 census. I would look for his military records, especially to see if he got a pension and if so those records should have good info as to where he was living ----- Original Message ----- From: Judith Silbaugh<mailto:judith.silbaugh@worldnet.att.net> To: MOJEFFER-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:MOJEFFER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, December 30, 2006 8:51 PM Subject: [MOJEFFER] Roll Call Dear List, My Jefferson County families are NAUMANN and ARNOLD, residents of Rock Township (Kimmswick). I am particularly interested in Florence Arnold, born February 1835 in Mullkerche, Elsass, France. I have lots of information gleaned from the Jefferson Democrat but have not been able to find his date of death. The last newspaper item, date June 21, 1906 states, "Florence Arnold, one of our oldest inhabitants, who has been living with his daughter in Indiana, came back for a visit to his old home this week." He fought in the Civil War (Union) and was commissioned November 7, 1864, vacated March 12, 1865 in Company A, Unit 1 Missouri. I have not been able to find him in the 1910 Census or in any Jefferson County Cemetery. Any suggestions?
