I am looking for info on a Maggie Faye Gill b/ June 1908 & d/ 8 Aug. 1908 b/ DeSoto City Cemt. I can't find on MO deaths pre 1910. Were a lot of birth/deaths not reported from 1883 on ? I cann't find any births either. They may have been born at home, but thought they had to be recorded. Where would I look for this info if a mid wife or family member delivered the babies? I am trying to find out if Maggie Faye is my fathers sister. Another question is how do I find my father in the 1910 census? He would of been 4yrs old & is not listed w/ his parents, though it says they have 1 living & 1 deceased child. I have checked all the relatives, gr.parents, etc & can't find him. His name was Forrest W. Gill b/ 1906 b/ DeSoto. His parents were William Gill & Verna (Schutz) Gill & lived in St.Louis in 1910, but her name is spelled wrong in census.
