Warren WHITE, the mute livery man of De Soto, is at Hot Springs, trying to get rid of rheumatism. Margaret A. LUTHER, wife of Solomon LUTHER of Plattin, died August 14th, aged 37 years, leaving a husband and seven children. 'Squire BERGEMEYER united in marriage, at the residence of the bride's father, near Antonia, George GILBERT and Mina KLAEBLE, both of this county. Elias and Elijah BURGESS threshed, this season, 3378 bushels of wheat. Last year they had 3664 bushels from about the same quantity of ground, about 200 acres. Sheriff WEAVER assisted by L.A. GREEN, took Mrs. Elizabeth MANION, of De Soto, to the State lunatic asylum at Fulton, last Friday. She was adjudged insane at the last term of County court. The WATCHMAN stated that Mayor GOFF and his son, William were to start last Saturday for Southwestern Kansas, where they expect to locate and go into business. We presume the Mayor will return in a few days. The heirs of Mrs. C.R. BRADFIELD, who died a short time since at Limitville, are having some trouble over her property. She disposed of part of it by deed to her children before her death, and also made a will, which Mr. B. is trying to get possession of from his son. He talked, Monday, as though there would be some fighting, other than legal.
