I am researching the Wallace/Wallis, Speed, & Dicus families of Jefferson Co., MO. These seem to be my "brick walls." The Wallace family moved from Jefferson Co., IL to Jefferson Co., MO. His name was George Washington Wallace. His parents were William Green Wallace and Catherine Goddard. The Speed family was from KY and I do have information on that line. The Dicus family is from an Edward (William) Dicus who married Susan Speed. Can't find the family he belongs to.

I've been trying to make a connection to Edward Dicus of Jefferson County too. Dicus isn't a real common name & I feel there just has to be a connection to my family.
