Tip: One suggestion for those not partial to Roll Calls is to add "Roll Call" to your email subject block list and those emails will be auto deleted from your mailbox. Check the help section of your email program on the how to's. You can visit the archives (see bottom of page) and view past posts by month-browse or year-search. http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/usa/MO/jefferson.html Yes, hitting the delete button can be a nuisance but everyone usually is sure to place the subject title & helps many avoid the topic. (Rootsweb leaves the decision of Roll Calls up to each list mom/dad and preferably initiated by them and only on occasion.) For this list, the majority seems to find it very useful and welcoming around this slow time of the year and it leads to great discussions and connections on and off list. Positive note: As the archives are not the easiest to search for everyone, typing in Roll Call in the search box can narrow down researchers/surname for you during a particular year.
