Members of the German Schweigert and the French LaHaye families are encouraged to order books on their family history in advance of Ste. Genevieve Jour de Fete to assure delivery at that time. The anticipated cost of the books will be about $35 for the Schweigert book and about $25 for the LaHaye book. Order by July 30 by calling Jean Pettus at 883-3925 or Janet Schmelzle at 883-2729. Payment is due at the Project Pioneers headquarters in the Patke Room of the County Services Building at Jour de Fete. Interested parties also are urged to check out the books which are available for viewing at the library. July 16 will be the last day to check the books for mistakes and submit corrections or additions. Those who wish to have a family T-shirt should order them now.
