Apr 29, 2007 - 09:56:55 CDT DESOTO - Gerald 'Jerry' L. Joyner of DeSoto passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital at the age of 56 years. He was born March 18, 1951 in St. Louis to the late Robert and Lois (Duncan) Joyner. Also preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Ramirez. Jerry served his country proudly during Vietnam in the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife, Randi (Bates) Joyner of the home, his children, Michael (companion, Serena) Joyner of Desert Hot Springs, CA, Sgt. Craig Nance with the United States Army stationed in Germany, and Robert Nance of Seattle, WA, eight grandchildren, Breanna, Ian, Drew, Candice, Kyle, Iseabel, Wyatt, and Shyanne, four sisters, Roberta Joyner, Jackie (Mrs. Ken) Paison, Charlotte (Mrs. Mark) Smith, and Linda (Mrs. Rick) Coleman, one brother, Michael (wife, Terry) Joyner, one aunt, Beverly (Mrs. Joe) Williams, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Funeral services to be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Flucom United Methodist Church. Interment will follow with full Military Honors at St. Francois Memorial Park Mausoleum.
