You can find some information on it in Historic Sites of Jefferson County, Mo. (1968), p. 123-125 with photos. You can find this at the local libraries or purchase from The County Circuit Court office for about $9. "In 1872 a white pine Howe Trust bridge, 76 feet long, was built over Sandy Creek." A search of the newspapers during that time should help you with some construction info. Good Luck with your researching!
