I was just looking through the info Mona put on the web (which I might add, I'm very grateful) and happened to notice a G.M. Mockbee who was a physician in Hillsboro in 1888. Has anyone any information on this man? My great grandfather had a sister, Mary FRY who married a William Mockbee, 29 Jan 1868 in Missouri. I don't have any information on their descendants. I do know she was previously married to a Fidelo Williams and they had two children; James Adrin b. 1856 and Francis b. 1858. The father died in 1859. She was originally from PA but their mother died in Hillsboro and it's very possible this G. M. Mockbee may be his son or at least related somehow. Any of this look familiar to anyone? -- Nancy C.
