May 10,1931, dear aunt of George, William, and Josephine Rogers and Mrs. Louisa Heiligtag, aged 69 years. Funeral from Hoffmeister chapel, 5624 S Compton ave., Wed., May 13, at 1:30 p.m. by motor to Antonia, Mo. [ this is incorrect, Ida was buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lemay, Mo.] Church bulletin - The Beacon of St. Luke's Evangelical Church (now St. Luke's United Church of Christ) near Antonia. CALLED HEAVENWARD Miss Ida Kuchelmeister (spelling corrected) of 5500 Vermont Ave. St. Louis, Mo. who was born near Antonia, Mo. Feb. 9, 1862 was also reared in this community. She was confirmed in the Roman Catholic Faith in Maxville, Mo. For the last number of years she made her home in south St. Louis where she was engaged in business. [She owned a market on Vermont Ave. near the area of River Des Peres & Present I-55] She took ill about three weeks before her death and was removed to St. Luke's Hospital of St. Louis, where she was called out of this life at 1:00 p.m., Sun. May 10 at the age of 69 yr. 3 mo. and 1 day. She is the last of three children to be called out of this earthly life. Her death is mourned by two nephews & two nieces, George & William Rogers, Miss Josephine Rogers and Mrs. Louisa Heiligtag all of near here. Services took place at Hoffmeister's Chapel and the interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Text Ec. 12:7. Blessed are they who die in the Lord. [ Note - Ida was the daughter of John George Kuchelmeister (b. 18 Sept 1826 in Wuertemburg, Germany) & Josephine Arbeiter. Her siblings were Louisa (b. 21 Apr. 1858 in Washington, Franklin County, Mo. - married Norman Fidelo Rogers on 28 Apr 1885 & died 7 Dec 1916 ) and William (b. 9 May 1874 near Antonia, Mo. - d. 9 June 1903 from bite of a rabid horse)]
