Thanks for looking. I am only guessing that he is there. I am fairly certain that it will be a grave without a stone. I know that most of the Manion family is there and several of the Huskey family also. His 2 oldest daughters married a Manion and a Huskey and had strong ties with the Bethleham Church. I have ordered microfilms of old Jeff. Co. newspapers that might have an obit or death notice that will give me the info. As far as I know David had no other relatives in the area. He came to Mo. in 1870 after the CW. If I do find his grave I would like to place a marker at the site. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Desoto Joe" <joey@jcn1.com> To: <MOJEFFER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, December 09, 2000 11:07 PM Subject: [MOJEFFER] David Chance > I could not find any trace of David's stone in Bethlehem Cemetery today. > Time has claimed many stones there & some are being covered up on the > ground, it is literally swallowing them.
