Moss, was a early settler on Sandy Creek. He came to Jefferson County about 1797." I am guessing that you have seen this, but perhaps not. I know these are not the specific answers you were looking for, but perhaps they're a start. It appears to me that William was still alive and living in Jefferson County in 1850. From the 1850 Federal Census in Jefferson County, Missouri, taken September 21, 1850, household #641: Moss, William; age- 86, male, farmer, real estate- $500, brn- VA Judith; age- 71, female, brn- VA This guy is certainly old enough. Whoever they are, neither William or Judith are on the 1860 census in Jefferson County. I know these are not the specific answers you were looking for, but I hope they help in some way.
