Hello, I'm looking for my Medley family roots in Jefferson County. My GGF was Sib Theodore Medley was born in Hematite, Jefferson County, Mo., on Oct 14, 1861, and died April 22, 1944 after spending most of his life in DeSoto. On Jan. 6, 1886, he was married to Mary Ellen (Ella) Hendrickson, born June 1, 1862 and died September 24, 1939. They had 4 sons and 2 daughters, all born in Jefferson County. His parents were Joseph and Katherine Medley. Sib was raised on the family farm and in his youth worked for a glass factory in Crystal City, MO. That is where the trail ends.
