Arlene, There's a fairly new Super 8 Motel in Potosi which is down Highway 21 South, not far from DeSoto. Their phone number is: 573-438-8888. There's also (or was) the Arlington Bed & Breakfast Inn which is right across the tracks from the library in DeSoto. Now that would be handy! According to the phone book I have, their phone number is 636-337-0043. I have no idea what their rates would be, but it looks very nice from the outside.
