    3. I just received the wonderful book put out by the Jefferson County Gen. Society, Deaths From Jefferson County Newspapers 1866-1920 and now I have a couple of questions. The notices were taken from the Leader and the Jefferson Democrat . Is the Jefferson Democrat the Hillsboro newspaper and what town is the Leader from? In looking at the book, I know that not all death notices are in it . I have looked at the Hillsboro newspaper for a particular death notice and it is not in it and if the Leader covered the Morse Mill area also, I would like to know where to send for microfilm for the year 1903. One other question, I have been avidly reading all the cemetary information posted by Desoto Joe, but since I know that 3 of the burials I am looking for, probably in the Bethleham Church cemetary, are in unmarked graves, I am wondering if that church has kept written records of people buried there. I think most of my Manion family were members of that church and I would also like to know if anyone has written a history of the church and if it is available. Thanks Martha Benson

I have been there many times & have a few Civil War soldiers from there. The one thing I know for a fact, is that there are many more buried there that have no stones remaining to mark their graves. I believe that some stones are laying right under the surface, but are covered by earth, so they are not seen as one walks the area. Desoto Joe/The Record Man
