I am looking for others who might be researching the following families: James C. Powers who married Margaret McCulloch 2/5/1862 - Patrick Thomas b. in Ind. who married Sarah McCulloch 3/22/1854. I do not find either James or Margaret on the 1880 census and Sarah is listed as head of the household on the 1880 census. Children of Patrick and Sarah were: Alexina?? b. 1855 Amanda b. 1858 James b. 1861 John b. 1863 Patrick b. 1865 Peter b. 1870 Also, does anyone know where I can find a copy of the 1860 Slave Schdules for Jefferson Co.
