In 1993 the Heritage Book re-print company offered for sale, "Genealogical Material from Jefferson Co," by Maness. Due to lack of response they declined to re-print the book, and rescinded the offer. It usually means that someone possessed the book, and inquired about a re-print. And I presume the book was over 50 years old, due to Copyright constrictions.
