I'm replying to the Armistead family.I was told that the Woodcock family was recruited in Lebanon TN along with the Armistead family to come to Mo.This was slightly before 1840.Danial Boone went from state to state to get people to move to Missouri.I would be interested in any history that supports this.NJ
