He was 59 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Boyer) Pelot, and five children: Juanita, Amy, Mary, Louise, Catherine and Harry, Jr., several brothers and sisters and grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the Mothershead Funeral Home to St. Rose of Lima Church, at nine o'clock. Mr. Pelot, a son of the late Louis and Susie (Bouchard) Pelot, formerly lived in Flat River and was employed by the Federal Lead Company. The family moved to DeSoto 25 years ago, and he was engaged in the oil business. He was a cousin of W. L. Bouchard, Editor of the Lead Belt News.
